SKILLS AND REQUIRED
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or related field preferred, will consider applicants with at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and

Tier 1 automotive experience required.
IATF 16949 experience required and ISO 9001:
2015 experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels across the organization and with customers.
Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to analyze, explain, and draw logical conclusions from complex operational, financial, regulatory and/or business data.
Continuous Improvement / Kaizen / Lean facilitator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
Acts as Management Representative for the TS-16949 Quality System.
Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions through designated channels.
Verifies the implementation of solutions.
Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory activities, including internal quality audits.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 5-10 employees including but not limited to Quality Engineers, Specialist and Technicians in the Quality Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coordinating with HR to reward and discipline employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet applications.
Must be familiar with internet research and the use of e-mail.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
