We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined individual to fill our Manufacturing Operator position at our Churchill, TN facility.
This is a full-time, 1st shift position that comes with benefits, paid holidays, 401k match, and paid time off (PTO).
Even if you don't have bookbinding experience, if you are mechanically inclined, we will train you to be a great bindery production employee.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Operates machinery to finish the final printed product.
Reads work orders and sets the machine in accordance with job specifications.
Completes trial runs and evaluates the quality and appearance of the product.
Adjusts machinery as needed before starting the project.
Ensures that the company's safety regulations and procedures are followed.
Ensures that the machines are in proper working order.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery.
Ability to work with machines.
Good communication skills.
Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
Good time management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous related experience preferred.
On-the-job training provided.
